The Province of Manitoba is dedicating $140,709.47 to the RM of Taché through the Municipal Road Repair Fund to aid in the repair of potholes and other road damage. This comes as part of our government’s $15 million commitment to 137 municipalities across Manitoba to repair and maintain damaged roads.
We value safe and reliable roads for Manitobans to travel on. This funding will help municipalities across the province fix any damage caused by these unexpected conditions while easing their financial burden.
Above-average precipitation and colder-than-average temperatures have caused a substantial increase in the number and severity of potholes on Manitoban roads. This one-time grant program will provide municipalities across Manitoba with funding for road construction, rehabilitation and preservation projects.
